Expectations shouldn't be too high...it's a sports bar. Come here for cheap drinks, decent food, and mediocre service. Toss some bean bags on the back patio or sit at the bar and watch people

What a huge letdown. Went in on a Sunday afternoon to grab a brew and a burger with the wife. Slow uncaring service and soggy subpar food killed it for me. I hardly ever write off a place after just one visit, but I will not be back here again.

This is your typical bar/restaurant spot. Don't expect anything special from this place besides cold beer and hot wings. The restaurant area has booths with individual TV screens (full control of channels/volume). The bar area has open table seating and flat screens. There is also a smaller room in the back of the restaurant that has a larger projector type screen. This place is great for PPV events (UFC, boxing etc.) The first Friday of every month this place turns into a club atmosphere. Dj's from 92q are usually there playing hip hop r&b type music. The crowd during this time is a good mix of young, old, and very old. There is also a DJ on Saturday nights who usually spins Alternative/Rock and sometimes r&b. The music here gets pretty loud, so don't plan on having a romantic intimate time in a place like this especially during the night.

Updated: Well I happened to check my bank statement the day after going here and they charged me $10 more than I authorized (including tip, which I wish I wouldn't have left). I won't visit this location again as their employees lack ethics and/or simple math skills. This location is a little bit better/cleaner than the Towson one. I ordered the cookie sundae which was almost rock hard and had nuts sprinkled all over it (menu didn't say it came with nuts). This place isn't a bad place to watch a sports game (it has TVs everywhere, even the bathroom) but the food isn't anything special.

Cute little local chain that's another sports bar with basic American bar cuisine and lots of televisions. The food isn't amazing, it's good. The servers are a complete dice roll. But it's big, it's loud, the food is greasy and satisfying, and it's chill. You could do worse.

The food here, ISN'T that amazing. But - we don't go for the food. We go for happy hour. Their drinks are always delicious, and always strong. They make the meanest cosmo I've had in the area! While their entrees aren't great - I do love their boneless buffalo wings and Artichoke dip!

Went here today to watch the Ravens game and I am so glad that I did! The restaurant is huge, and full of TVs! Even the booth tables each have their own private TVs. With cheap food and beer, This was the perfect place to watch the game. And a lot of other people thought so too, It was packed! So I suggest if you are trying to go here on a game day, then show up at least 30 minutes before kickoff. It's so worth it tho, I hope I get back to this green turtle for another game soon! Now, Would I go here if I wasn't watching a game, or in the area looking for a tall drink? Prob not. The food is good but it is still just bar food..

Food isn't great at all. I got the blackened tilapia. The tilapia was good but whatever salad that came with it was horrible. It tasted really old and smells like feet. The waitress brought me an ceasar salad as replacement and it tasted bitter. It was better to not finish it. Drinks aren't that great either. Theres Nothing special about their specialty drinks. If you go there just get beer. What makes me angry was that I still paid full price $$$

I know for most of these restaurants esp. in Owings Mills most of the time they are crowded, so I made sure to go to the Greene Turtle before most people got off of work, around 2pm on a weekday. There was no wait and we were seated right away and got the booth we asked for. I love how each booth had its own television set with preset channel like the news, espn, and nick toons for the children. They also have a full bar and seating. As soon as I saw the prices my eyes lit up and I was hoping the quality of food was just as good. Our waitress was nice and made sure to check up on us the entire time. We started with our drinks, my cosmopolitan with sugar was good, enough liquor for sure. For the appetizers, I ordered mozzarella sticks which were $6.49 and spicy fried cheese ravioli. The mozzarella sticks were perfect and the ravioli were even better. I forget that they were spicy until it kicked me in the mouth, definately something worth trying. It was some good finger food. As well, an order of wings but I guess you have to tell them extra sauce because while the wings were great they just weren't as wet/juicy as the wings pictured on their website. Next time I'll just ask for more sauce and they'll be on point all the way. I ordered the bigger steak that they offer. Instead of mashed potatoes and gravy I substituted with french fries. The meal came with steamed vegetables. The steak was pretty good, just a little fat on the edges but it was juicy and tender. The meal was regular but it was good. Finally, for the desert I ordered the raspberry cheesecake. It was just regular cheesecake with raspberry sauce drizzled on it and around it BUT I swear it tasted like they put maple syrup on the bottom with the crust and that made it delightful. I would definately recommend this place to anyone and the prices are phenomenal. THEY ARE OPEN UNTIL 2AM..........

I had never been to this location for lunch. It is a spacious restaurant with high ceilings, ceramic tile floors, dark wood booths and tables plus an outdoor area. Our server was efficient and friendly which is great for a weekday lunch. They have all the menu items available for lunch, too. We opted to try the special lunch menu. Choose a salad or soup, plus an additional item like a BLT Salad or Blackened Chicken sandwich. My friend had the French Onion soup. It came in its own crock with the melted cheese on top. I had the Maryland crab soup which was full of veggies, crab meat in a tomato base. The BLT salad was huge and dotted with bacon. The blackened chicken was cooked perfectly - tender and moist. Overall, tasty and an inexpensive lunch for $8.99 each.

Happy hour! Mon-Fri 3pm-7pm. It's the only good thing about this place. After happy hour is over, go home. The place turns into something completely different after 8-9pm.

This rating is for a Good bar style restaurant. Had the Crab melt burger as a turkey burger and it was awesome!! Nice waitress, good food and great price! Will come back when I stay at the Garden Inn across the street again.

3.5 stars would be more fitting. They have typical chillis/applebees type food. And some decent beers on draft. The waitress was slow but we were busy gabbing anyways. Overall not a bad choice if your in the area. :)

A dive bar in disguise. The food is overpriced and not that great. You know when med well is as rare as they go the meat isn't that great. Mine tasted about like a McDonald's burger. Seem to rely on a lot of creamy cheesy sauces for flavor. Skip it and go to Fridays for a similar style and price point with better food.

What a mixed bag. I give this Green Turtle a 3 only because our waiter was good and provided good service. First lets start with the décor, it's what I expect from the Green Turtle. It was clean and well kept, standard restaurant chain design and seating. We didn't have to wait and got seated in a both right away. One thing we didn't like was the volume of the band. The band was OK, nothing to write home about and I don't think they will be busting out with a gold hit any time soon. To be heard you had to almost scream. We asked our waiter if there was someplace not as loud but unfortunately for us there was not. If you like band music and really don't want to talk much this would have been the ideal spot for you. Now to the food - my son was not hungry and had cheese sticks. They were normal pub food cheese sticks. The same could be said for my daughters boneless BBQ wings. The wings tasted as expected from a sports pub chain, they were tasty and well done. My wife had French Onion soup, it was very plain and seemed like it was made from plain broth and boiled onions. I am used to deeply caramelized onions deglazed with sherry and the broth having a much deep flavor brought on by herbs and spices such as garlic, Dijon mustard (which really is good in this soup, or various herbs.) Boiled onions in beef stock is just plan bland. My Maryland crab soup was really good, the veggies were tasty, the spices were nice and the soup had a decent amount of heat without being overpowering. I was a little disappointed with the serving size and lack of crab considering the price. I should have either had way more soup or way more crab. For dinner my wife had the crab dip appetizer as she was not very hungry. The crab dip was good and I could taste the crab in this dish - some places try to cut the crab with cheese and mayo leaving you with a goopy mess but not here. Tasted good!! I myself had the fish and chips, against my better judgment. After all, the Green Turtle is more of a burger joint than anything else and that was what I should have stuck too. But instead I had fish and chips. I love fish and chips and I am still amazed how many folks do such a poor job. In this case someone decided to cook the heck out of the fish- what a shame, they came to me so dang gum blasted dry - they were a fish with no water. Had the fish been even mediocre they would have gotten an additional start easy, but as it was they screwed this up so bad there was no way I could rate them better. Again I think I would have been better off just sticking with a burger - this goes with the advice of not ordering the pasta in a steak joint, or vice-versa. From my experience Green Turtles are pretty consistent offering the same dishes. If you go in looking for pub food that is what you will get.

This restaurant is in a lot by itself and parking seemed adequate on the weekend evening I went there. It is part of a Maryland-regional restaurant chain that I've never been to since I don't live in this state. I thought service was okay. Most of their food is contemporary American fried stuff. I ordered a fish and chicken combo basket. It was ready a lot faster than I expected, suggesting that it had been pre-fried and maybe reheated in a microwave. Anyway, I thought the food was about average. Prices are on the high side, so I can't honestly say this is a good value. It's probably better if you went there specifically for the sports bar ambiance since that's actually what the restaurant is and they have a TV at every table.

Pretty typical sports bar. I got the nacho's, my friend got chicken tenders. The food was good, not anything amazaing or memorable. Prices were decent. I like that they have televisions in every booth. Service was good. But again, this place isn't amazing, but good enough to come back too if I can't think of anything else.

Typical sports bar. Nothing to write home about. At least their fries are good.

plain old good sports bar. good bar food and draft specials. I went on a sunday and got free cups with my beers. I like the amount of space they have since the usual sports bars are packed and you end up being way to close to an over excited fan that had to many beers this is a welcome advantage to have. Drink up and cheer on.

I've been here a couple of times in the past, so its time to write the ol' review. This Greene Turtle location is pretty decent, IMO. You can come here to eat and drink (obviously), but you can also come here to watch big sports events, and even get your boogie on with a DJ on select weekends, usually Saturdays. The last time I came here was when the Turtle was showing UFC 133: Evans vs. Ortiz. I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with fries. The fries were OK, but the cheesesteak was plentiful and cooked well (well, you shouldn't mess us something simple as this, should you?) The food is usually decent to good here for the most part. There were beer specials flowing throughout the night. Nothing like having a pitcher of beer and watching someone get their collective behinds whooped, all for a low cost. Special good luck with parking on the weekends: this Greene Turtle location is usually packed during that time. If you can weather that storm, you should fun a good time at The Greene Turtle.

Typical bar though the staff is usually pretty nice. Friday and Saturday nights are always packed and usually you will find a DJ or some sort of music/dancing going on during the weekend. The food is ok though a bit pricey for what you get. Not my favorite place to go....
